Aligning key areas of our organization

We’ve made some recent changes regarding MPAC’s organizational structure as part of our commitment to growth, innovation and supporting property owners and municipalities. These changes are the result of an independent review to further increase alignment in key areas of our organization.

Notably, we’ve reorganized our Executive Management Group to streamline operations, enhance efficiencies, and align our resources more effectively with our strategic plan.

The Municipal and Stakeholder Relations department has moved to the new Public Affairs and Customer Experience department along with our other public and customer facing teams, including Strategic Communications, Policy and Government Relations, Valuation Experience, and the Customer Contact Centre.

Now reporting to Vice President Jamie Bishop, the organizational changes will not affect your key contacts at MPAC. Municipalities will continue to have the same Account Support Coordinator, Account Manager, Regional Manager and Director.

With these departments united, the property owner and municipal experience will continue to be further enhanced as we integrate our efforts and activities with all stakeholders.

Jamie joined MPAC in 2015 and in 2018, became the Executive Director of Corporate and Government Relations. In 2020, he was promoted to Vice President of the department. In his new role as the Vice President, Public Affairs and Customer Experience, Jamie will be attending a number of our engagements throughout the year and is excited to meet with the municipal community to learn more about your work and how MPAC can continue to meet the evolving needs of all our stakeholders.

Vice President Carmelo Lipsi will continue to lead our Valuation and Customer Relations team, in addition to leading our Central Processing Facility and Operational Quality Management departments. The Municipal and Stakeholder Relations team would like to thank Carmelo for his inspiring leadership and vision over the past five years.
