Impact of Canada Post labour disruption on MPAC

The Canada Post labour disruption will affect all incoming and outgoing mail, including Property Assessment Notices (PANs), which were mailed out beginning November 12.

If you think you should receive a PAN (see reasons listed below), we encourage you to log in to AboutMyProperty™ to view your notice.

To register for the first time, you will need the roll number and access code from a previous PAN. If you do not have a copy of a previous PAN, you can call MPAC’s Customer Contact Centre at 1-866-296-6722, Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The types of changes that would prompt a PAN can include:

  • New property or updated roll number (property severance/consolidation)
  • Update to ownership data
  • Updated to assessed value, classification, or tax liability
  • Update to mailing address
  • Update to lot dimensions
  • Update to legal description
  • Update to property location
  • Update to school support
  • Update to occupancy, taxable tenant(s)

For a description of these reasons, visit the Notices and Notifications page.
