MPAC recognized as a Top Employer for the fifth consecutive year

The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) is thrilled to announce that for the fifth consecutive year, it has been recognized as one of Greater Toronto’s Top Employers.

“This award has become the benchmark in Greater Toronto for workplace best practices,” said Nicole McNeill, President and Chief Administrative Officer. “At MPAC, we are committed to cultivating an environment where employees can bring their full, unique and authentic selves to the table and be inspired to do their best work.”

MPAC was recognized based on several criteria including work atmosphere and communications; health benefits; financial benefits and compensation; family-friendly policies; programs for experienced employees; employee engagement; training and development; vacation policy and paid days off; and community involvement.

In 2023, MPAC continued to put emphasis its Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Anti-Racism (EDIA), developing a strategy that will see EDIA woven into MPAC’s culture, and the work the corporation does. MPAC’s focus on flexible work, employee mental health and wellness, employee-led corporate social responsibility initiatives, and strong communication with employees are also contributing factors to what makes MPAC a top employer.

With offices across Ontario, MPAC employees work not only in property valuation and inspection roles but also in customer relations, legal, information technology, commercial sales, human resources, communications, and finance.
