MPAC Supports Student Success
Supporting hard work, excellence and a passion for learning has always been important to MPAC. Our commitment to this extends well beyond the organization to include Ontario’s post-secondary institutions. We are pleased to announce that the successful 2021/22 recipient of the MPAC Award for Excellence in Property Valuation at Seneca College has been awarded to Tugba Turedi.
As a recent graduate of the Real Property Administration program (April 2022), Tugba is looking forward to a new career path and thanks MPAC for the generous scholarship, which has lifted some of the financial burden so that she can focus on her studies.
“I sincerely and humbly want to say thank you for believing and empowering me to follow my passion and dreams,” says Tugba. “Your generosity has motivated me to help others and contribute to the community. I hope that one day, like you, I will be able to assist students in achieving their goals.”
Awarded annually to a student who exhibits an aptitude and appreciation for the advancement of property valuation practices, demonstrates an advanced skillset in fundamental valuation techniques and achieves high academic standing and active classroom participation, this $1,000 scholarship is one of four that MPAC supports annually; the others are two at Ontario Tech University’s Women in STEM program (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and one at the University of Guelph’s Real Estate and Housing program.
“We are pleased to be able to offer scholarships to Seneca College students who show passion and commitment to their studies,” says Kristy Robbins, Senior Manager, Learning and Development. “Supporting students as they pursue their professional dreams reflects MPAC’s dedication to enriching and inspiring successful learning, and we are extremely proud to be part of this important community outreach initiative.”
We wish Tugba Turedi continued success as she begins the next chapter in her career.
