Long Description Top 10 Municipalities for New Assessment

Toronto holds first place for municipalities with the greatest new assessment growth amongst municipalities in 2022 with $8.7 billion, down from $10.7 billion in 2021. Ottawa holds second place with $4.4 billion, up from $3 billion; Mississauga is third with $1.2 billion, down from $1.6 billion; Vaughan is fourth with $1.1 billion, down from $2 billion; Oakville is fifth with $1.1 billion, the same as in 2021; Hamilton is sixth with $1.1 billion, up from $884.8 million;  Brampton is seventh with $974 million, down from $1.3 billion; Markham is eighth with $926 million, up from $750.4 million; London is ninth with $903 million, up from $672 million; and Richmond Hill is tenth with $727 million, up from $722.8 million.
