COVID-19 update from President and Chief Administrative Officer Nicole McNeill

As COVID-19 continues to impact communities across Ontario and around the world, I want to provide an update on our plans to help ensure the safety of our employees, stakeholders and residents across the province.

At MPAC, we are committed to doing our part to help slow the spread of the virus in our communities. We are standing together with other organizations when it comes to public safety initiatives intended to minimize the potential impact on our healthcare system.

As a preventative measure MPAC offices will be closed to the public and our team across the province is working remotely. We have taken swift and decisive action by also postponing all property inspections until June 2.

We are equipped with the technology and resources to continue to minimize business impact while serving property owners as well as our municipal and provincial stakeholders. We continue to be available to take your calls and assist you online – please contact us.

Our dedicated pandemic planning team is meeting daily to discuss updates, develop action plans as the situation continues to evolve.

Looking Ahead

We remain flexible and coordinated to ensure employee and community safety and continue to be guided by the recommendations of government and health agencies.

I want to emphasize that the safety of our employees and communities is of paramount importance. To this end we are committed to providing the public with further information on our response as the situation evolves.

Nicole McNeill
President and Chief Administrative Officer
